Cascade Couriers is a human-powered delivery service based out of Bend, Or. Our mission is two-fold: To provide convenient
home deliveries to Bend residents and to reduce the number of motor vehicles on the road, saving fossil fuels and miles on your car. Delivering by bike is also pretty good exercise for owner Daniel Brewster, who moved to Bend to take advantage of
all the recreation opportunities that Central Oregon has to offer.
Cascade Couriers also offers a curbside composting service. Customers save their compostable food scraps in a sealed container to be picked up.. We collect the contents of the containers on a weekly, biweekly, or monthly basis depending on need. We then deliver food scraps to local farmers and gardeners to be composted. Our compost service is perfect for customers who would like to compost but simply don't have the time to devote or the space for compost piles or tumblers. By picking up your compostable food scraps for you at your doorstep, we're helping to reduce waste in our local landfills and community farmers will benefit from the rich, dark humus your recycled food scraps will provide. We provide home deliveries of groceries, periodicals, fresh produce from the farmer's market, and just about anything else
that will fit on our trailers. Heck, we even deliver and pick up diapers for
